How to take
Take 2 capsules daily with food.
- Consistent daily use for a full cycle (28 days minimum) is where the foundation builds.
- Take for 6 months and cycle off for 4 week breaks for best results.
Our body builds with us after break we can re evaluate how we feel.
1. Morning with breakfast - Take with food for best absorption of the botanical compounds. Morning timing means the adaptogenic support is active through the day's demands rather than catching up to them.
2. Give it time - Traditional botanical formulas work differently from pharmaceutical interventions. Most people notice improved energy and emotional steadiness within 2 to 3 weeks. Deeper vitality and cognitive support builds over a full month of consistent use. Do not judge it in the first week.
3. Stack thoughtfully - Wise Woman stacks beautifully with Salty Goddess for the complete women's mineral and electrolyte foundation.

Step into your power
Comfort & Calm
Black Cohosh and Sage are two of the most historically used botanicals for supporting women's comfort during the transition years. Black Cohosh's triterpene glycosides support the body's natural thermal regulation mechanisms. Sage's rosmarinic acid and flavonoids support nervous system calm and the body's natural thermal balance. Together they form the transition comfort layer of Wise Woman.
Cortisol Support
Reishi and Rhodiola support the stress resilience and nervous system regulation that the transition years require. The nervous system becomes more sensitive during this life phase. Chronic stress compounds everything. Supporting the HPA axis and nervous system regulation with adaptogens is the upstream intervention that helps everything else in the formula work more effectively. This is the layer that addresses what modern life adds to a transition that was already complex.
Liver & metabolic support
White Peony and Burdock support healthy liver function and the body's natural metabolic processing. The liver plays a central role in clearing and processing the compounds that influence the body's hormonal environment. Supporting healthy liver function is a foundational element of women's vitality support often overlooked in favour of more direct hormonal claims but essential to how the body naturally maintains balance.
Vitality Support
Shatavari, Dong Quai, and White Peony represent the convergence of three traditional medicine systems. Shatavari from Ayurveda supports the HPA axis and overall vitality. Dong Quai from TCM supports circulation and the warming vitality that TCM associates with women's energy. White Peony from TCM supports the cooling and nourishing balance that complements Dong Quai. Together they cover what no single herb can.
Clarity & Memory Support
Lion's Mane and Schisandra support the cognitive clarity, memory, and mental sharpness that women consistently identify as central to how they want to feel during this phase. Lion's Mane supports NGF activity and neural resilience. Schisandra supports cognitive function and mental clarity through its lignan compounds and adaptogenic properties. Mental sharpness is not separate from women's vitality at this stage it is part of it.
Wise Woman
This is not a decline. It is a transition. Every culture that has valued plant medicine has recognised the wisdom years as a significant transition rather than a diminishment. The herbs in Wise Woman have been used in those cultures to support that transition for thousands of years. Not to fight it. Not to reverse it. To support the body's natural navigation of it.
How long until I notice a difference?
Everyone is different. Some notice improved energy and emotional steadiness within the first week or two. The deeper botanical support builds over a full month of consistent daily use most people notice the clearest difference around weeks three to four. Traditional herbs work cumulatively. Give Wise Woman a full month before evaluating.
Can I take this during perimenopause?
Yes. Wise Woman is designed to support women's vitality during and after the transition years including the perimenopausal phase when the transition is active. Consistent daily use is where it works best. If you are under medical care for perimenopause, check with your healthcare provider before adding any new supplement.
Can I take this every day long-term?
Daily use is recommended with one important note. Due to the Black Cohosh and Dong Quai content, Wise Woman should not be used for more than 6 months continuously. This is a Health Canada regulatory requirement. After 6 months of daily use, take a break of at least 4 weeks before resuming. Mark your start date when you begin.
Is this safe to take alongside prescription medications?
If you are taking prescription medications particularly hormonal medications, blood thinners, or medications affecting the liver please consult your healthcare provider before adding Wise Woman to your routine. Black Cohosh and Dong Quai both have documented interactions with certain medications. We are not able to advise on specific drug interactions.
Why bovine gelatin capsules instead of vegetable?
Bovine gelatin capsules provide superior moisture and oxygen barrier properties that help preserve the potency of the botanical compounds important for herbs that can degrade with exposure. If you prefer plant-based, you can open the capsules and mix the powder into water or a smoothie.
Can I take this if I am pregnant or nursing?
No. Wise Woman contains Black Cohosh and Dong Quai, both of which are contraindicated during pregnancy and nursing. Do not take Wise Woman if you are pregnant or nursing. Consult your healthcare provider for appropriate alternatives during this period.
