I initially purchased 3 of the sample packs to see if I liked the electrolytes or not, and if any of them stood out more than others. I thought that 3 of each would give me an idea with multiples of each flavour. As I had given my last set away to a friend, when it came to preparing for a short trip to Montreal for my anniversary, I decided to order a few more as I thought they would be easier to travel with than scooping loose powder into baggies and running to risk of them opening. This was a great idea on my part. I simply grabbed a handful of sugar packets at a cafe, as I prefer to have sugar in my electrolytes, and a bottle of water (which I refilled throughout the trip). This worked out great! I was able to drink my salties on my holiday in a low mess capacity. The only thing that I had trouble with is that the packets didn’t all tear off at the notches easily by hand. I either needed to get my husband to tear them open or grab a pair or scissors. Other than that, for a short trip, the sample packets were pretty easy to pack and use.
